Indo-Pacific Policy Lab Internship Support Fund

Deadline: Rolling

The Indo-Pacific Policy Lab Internship Support Fund provides supplemental Summer Quarter support for Stanford undergraduate and graduate students who secure internships in the field of Indo-Pacific security and policy. Funding is intended to assist students with unpaid internships or internship-related expenses that exceed the host organization’s stipend.

Please note that funding is competitive and limited; not all applicants will receive an award.

Eligibility

  • Open only to currently enrolled Stanford undergraduate and graduate students.

  • Students must have an internship offer related to Indo-Pacific security or policy.

  • Funding supports both unpaid positions and cases where internship-related expenses exceed provided stipends.

Funding Range

Awards typically fall within the range of $2,500–$8,000, depending on available funding and demonstrated need.

Expenses beyond the awarded amount remain the responsibility of the student.

Eligible uses include housing near the internship site, local transportation, required travel, and meal support when not otherwise provided.
